Please buy something from JS so that QVC doesn't kick him off altogether. I noticed the last time he was on was 5:00 a.m. so they're not giving him prime time anymore. If everyone keeps buying his stuff he won't disappear like Kirks Folly and others. Thank you.

OP I think he's been on late night or early am for a long time but you make a good point since the Q's dropped one good vendor after another. Love Jim Shores items & also his stories about the backgrounds & history of pieces. Let's all support him!

Yes, in recent years Jim's appearances have been in the middle of the night or very early morning. Maybe he prefers it that way?

I love watching his shows too but you can buy his items for the same or often times less with FREE SHIPPING (with a minimum purchase) from his web site. I usually wait until I want a few things for myself or gifts & order together to save all that shipping.

My last order was something like 25 - 30 dollars shipping from the Q, 0 from Jim. And I didn't order that much.

I would love to see him stay too but geeeeez, that's a lot of shipping!

He has a new collection up on his website called Rivers End by Jim Shore. Sort of different but worth a look.

How many nic naks can you buy, I'm sure Jim made his money years ago and doesn't need to rely on the Q. I see his figurines in local stores, so the Q isn't his only outlet.

He's got a line at Hallmark and some other gift places.

He's doing just fine. QVC is an avenue for people to get noticed. At some point, they no longer need QVC.

I think he is a lovely man, and I enjoy watching him, but never purchased any of his work. I am looking to make my decor less 'busy' and while I like his work, it just doesn't fit into my new look.

I would like to see him stay on Q because I think they don't keep nearly enough home and kitchen items/vendors/shows going on, but I have to agree with those that say he doesn't need Q at this point, as his line is available everywhere.

As others posted his stuff is all over & easily found in any Hallmark, gift shop, etc. personally it's not for me. I think these type of knick-knacks are certainly not of interest to the "new" younger buyers which it seems Q is wanting to attract. Just look at some of the fashions, makeup, etc As a collectible item they are massed produced in China just like all the other things sold & have no collectible $ value. Does anyone remember those "precious moments" my friend has over 500 all over her house -- tried to sell them -- no one wanted them. They now sit in boxes. And in the grand scheme of things "I don't think Mr Shore is financially hurting" so perhaps that's all the tie on air he wants.

You can buy Jim Shore items in many stores, from his website, and elsewhere online. Anyone who wants his items can find them -- probably for less than at QVC! He probably isn't getting "prime time" any more because fewer people are interested in shopping Jim Shore on QVC, for good reason!

I'm really liking that look of burlap reindeer tray, and the raccoon with pinecones. Neither piece comes out until August which is good. Hubby is taking early retirement in a month, so that gives me time to get adjusted to living on a fixed income. YIKES - retirement. LOL

I enjoy watching Jim Shore but will always look around for the best price.

QVC has gotten rid of almost every vendor and special event that made it unique. When I think of all the wonderful shows in the "old days"...now it's just the same old, same old that you can buy anywhere (and usually for a better price). Someone else has said it on other threads: Dyson, Keurig, Dell, Kitchenaid.....Dyson, Keurig......you get the idea.

I seldom watch QVC any more. It's not "entertainment" to me, nor "company" in the background. It's just an ordinary shopping channel.

I understand what you are saying but Jim Shore is an artist and besides Thomas Kinkade who has passed away there aren't many avenues for artists to come on to show their works and if Jim Shore gets taken off we are left with no one. Also he is a part of Americana and folk art even though his pieces get manufactured in China he is still an American artist.

If you haven't noticed it yet, QVC is now a Timeshare with its members like Dyson, Vitamix, etc., all sharing the air time so to get someone as original as Jim Shore to take the time to showcase and explain his works is a blessing.
