I know this may seem like a weird random question, but I wondered this after changing bedding yesterday...did a major bed refresh, flipping mattress, vacuuming mattresses & the featherbed (I don't do this but a few times a year, not every bedding change!) I admit, I don't wash and change the mattress pad, which is under layers of other clean bedding, with each bedding change, but did so yesterday. So I wonder, how often do you change and wash your mattress pad?

For the most part, no more than 2-3 times per year. If it is a really hot summer (we have no air conditioning) or if someone has been very sick-in-bed kind of sick, then I will strip the bed down to the dust ruffle and wash them more often.

Couple times a year. Pillow protectors more often. ALWAYS if evidence shows needs a trip to laundry at every bed change. Also wash pillows couple times a year.
