Don't know if you really are registered or not.

I would do an internet search to find out and if the mfg's web site is still not working, then that would make the product just as defective as their non operational web site.

Also it seems what the manufacturer's 800# reps told you may not be true since that violates their own manufacturer's product registration warranty instructions as to having the consumer option to register the product on line, at their internet web site.

Defective non working web site to me indicates a defective product since you cannot do the on line product warranty registration, as indicated on your product's manufacturer's registration information card.

I believe this item based on what I outlined above merits a full QVC refund since it obviously is defective in so many ways.

Please let us know the outcome and Good Luck also according to Consumer Law Warranty Law, what I enclosed below is very educational, and is clearly stated on the internet:

: Does a manufacturer have to warranty their products?

A: The Warranty Act doesn't require any manufacturer to provide a written warranty, but allows manufacturers to determine whether to warrant their products in writing. Once a manufacturer decides to offer a written warranty on a consumer product, however, it must comply with the Warranty Act.

Does the Warranty Act apply to an oral warranty?

A: No. Only written warranties are covered?

Is there any basic warranty coverage that automatically comes with a consumer product?

A: Customers will always receive the basic protection of the implied warranty of merchantability and the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. The Act prohibits anyone who offers a written warranty from disclaiming or modifying implied warranties.

Q: Is a warranty a contract the manufacturer must honor?

A: Yes. A warranty is a contract that commits the manufacture, manufacturer, to stand behind the product.

Q: Is there any basic warranty coverage that automatically comes with a consumer product?

A: Customers will always receive the basic protection of the implied warranty of merchantability and the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

After multiple emails back and forth with Customer Service, over +- two weeks, I've come full circle...very frustrating!

I tried to register my floor steamer using Euroflex's website as instructed in product enclosure. No luck. I called their 800# and was told online's not working, I must go to QVC Customer Service. They insisted my QVC Invoice serves as registration for my steamer. Why would I believe that? The warrantee enclosure didn't say that!

Four efforts on my part to have QVC confirm that claim have just gotten what I consider the "run around"...finally, Customer Service stated that I must register with Euroflex. THAT'S WHERE THE WHOLE PROBLEM STARTED !!!

Any advise anyone?

This month's AARP says not to register warranties because you are already registered. This in regards to identity protection.

You don't need to register a product to have it covered by the warranty. All you need is your invoice proving when you bought it. The registration just serves the maker in getting demographic information.

There are many legal reasons why a manufacturer includes a product registration card, or information how to register your product within your packaging and the various reasons are stated below:

1) We have product registration cards enclosed with many items and we should always fill them out, and register the product because the manufacturer should have the personal information of each of their customers, in case there is a a major "problem with the item which then must be returned to be serviced and then returned to the consumer".

2) The product registration is definitely needed, especially on an electrical item.

3) Many items can become defective/dangerous after consumer usage and then reported to the manufacturer by those consumers. The manufacturer then has the legal responsibility to inform the public, and many times a total recall is not merited, but there is a distinct problem with the item and the consumer needs notification, and perhaps instructions to have the item returned and serviced, and then returned back to the consumer.

These legal reasons above are why consumers should register all products with the manufacturer if there is documentation within the packaging, giving us the option to do so.
