I was cleaning out my guestroom closet and came across a couple boxes that I had forgotten what was in them. I opened the boxes and I almost stopped breathing. I forgot that a couple years ago I scooped up a bunch of ornaments and garland and picks at Michaels and various places around town when they were marked down 75%. This was just a couple days before Christmas. I don't consider myself to be a crafty person but I do like to do some if I can make it easy. My favorite thing to do is buy a Christmas decor item and them embellish it with stuff I have on hand.

When I bought all this stuff, the first thing I thought of doing was to paint this little wagon I had and load it with fake fancy christmas gifts. I was going to make more ornament wreaths and embellish a few hurricane candle holders I had.

But then my husband got sicker from his cancer and I just didn't have time or strength to do it. Last year I would not have decorated my house as much as I did if it wasn't for my daughter doing most of it. But now that we have a routine and I spend more time at home than before I am going to work on some crafts that I hope to share with you all.

So watch out, you will be hearing from me more than I have been in the past. You gals just have me all stoked out about doing some Christmas crafts and I think this will just be the lift I need for my spirits.
