Remote for luminara candles

I just bout a remote for my luminara candles. It works fin for my 3 lanterns, but not with my 2 pillar candles. I checked the setting and it has 4 hr timer or off. Does anyone know what setting this needs to be on for the remote to work??

Not all Luminara candles are remote-compatible. It may be that the pillar candles you purchased are not. There's no special setting to use the remote. It either works or it doesn't.

CRV, the candles need to be remote ready and to use the remote the candles must be switched to the ON position, not the timer. The older luminara candles didn't have the remote capability.

I like the idea if the remote, but I am not sold on it. I bought a pair of remote ready candles and the remote, but the remote only works on one of the candles. I also have to be standing next to it. I don't know that I'd buy another.
