Does anyone still have/use your Peterboro Baskets??

I was cleaning out some kitchen cabinets this weekend and found several of the Peterboro baskets that I bought from QVC years ago. I especially love the round one with the plastic sectioned insert for condiments when grilling hotdogs/hamburgers. I always thought that the prices were very reasonable and wondered what ever happened to the brand??

They still exist and have their own website: Peterboro

They're also sold by other retailers (including LL Bean). QVC dropped them a long time ago, as they have so many other specialist vendors. I have one basket that I use every day; it was a magazine basket, but I use it for odds and ends. It's always in my living room and still looks as good as the day I bought it.

Thank you for the info!! I agree with you and all of my baskets still look perfect. I used to love buying them for wedding gifts so I am going to check out the website. Thanks again!

I love Peterboro baskets, have them, still using them and wish the Q hadn't gotten rid of them. Beautifully made for the money....

QVC saturated the market and their value collapsed. Maybe they'll return, in another generation.

Yes I do.. I use one for bread, it has the handpainted rooster on the lid..

And I have another one that I bought for the 4th of July..

They are great baskets!!!

1. Round waste-can basket

2. Round ""vegetable tray"" basket w/liner

All pristine ... just like the day I purchased. Love them. Now that was QUALITY!!

I have 2 large magazine and 1 small magazine baskets. Donated the rest. Still use those 3.

I still have a couple that I use. One is 3 baskets with liners that nest and the other is a round basket that sits in a wrought iron stand.

We have one that we use to hold magazines, throws, etc. It's still in perfect condition.

I never bought any of them new, but I watch for them at yard sales and estate sales. I use mine for non-food items. If I wanted to put food in them, I would buy new!

I love my Peterboro baskets. I bought three of the large wrought iron (maybe 39" tall) racks that hold three Peterboro baskets and gave two to my daughter and I kept one. I also have a great office sorting basket and a couple of others which I use regularly. I also liked the Longaberger baskets, but I don't think those were ever presented on QVC (just home parties).

I have a bread basket and cracker basket. Those were offered through QVC. I bought several other baskets directly from the website. Those baskets do not die! Lol

I have a medium square-ish one, that I think was shown to be for magazines.

It became the cats' toy box.

Love mine. Use them to store things on a shelf or out in the open. I have a large one that is trash can size. I use it for trash. I have one that I plop down magazines, another for newspapers. It allows me to put things where I can find them in a pretty decorative way.

I never bought them as an investment, just for something pretty that would make things handy.

Love mine, too! I have a few of the magazine baskets and they hold everything from magazines to dog toys to home repair project supplies. They all still look brand new. Glad to hear that they are still in business. I'll have to check the websites.
