As is items ?

Just wondered if anyone that has ordered "as is" items had a problem or was the item fine? Ordered the Bethlehem lights woodland tree that popped up today and I have been waiting so long to get the chance to order it now wonder if it will be alright when I get it. Debating on getting it now....would love feedback from those that have purchased "as is" items.

I have purchased some "as is" items, mostly kitchen goods. It really is a chance. Some has been nicer than a full price product, others have been broken or incomplete. The great thing about it is that Q will still honor a return for 30 days, and if it is broken, I have gotten them to even pay the return shipping.

My advice would be to set it up, and make sure it works for a number of days or weeks. I'm not sure, but I'd also noticed that they should be covered by the "return till January 31st" policy that is on right now, but call customer service to be sure.

I have had good luck with as is items- and have not sent one item back. Which BL Woodland tree popped up? I am looking for a 6' multi one. Thank you!

Of about 20-25 'as is' purchases, I only sent 1 back...a set of VPH MG spheres. I have several sets and half of them are 'as is'.

I have bought several VPH items, a set of Rachel Ray rustica stoneware, and several Dooney & Bourke handbags...all 'as is'

The way I look at is what's the worst thing that could happen. If it was defective, it would cost me 20 minutes of time packing it up and taking it to the post office. I mainly buy as is. 99% success rate. I buy clothing and home decor.

I have ordered just one item and it was perfect. You still have the 30 day guarantee with the as is. I hope you enjoy your purchase.

I have ordered a lot of As Is items and returned only a couple. I have about the same success with as is as I do with regular priced merchandise. I just got the set of three Velvet Pumpkins today in As Is and they are in good condition, just need a little glue on the stems that have loosened. Not a problem. I love to shop the As Is section.

All have been like new, but a set of mercury glass pedestals, so returned them, but the other "as is" were fine.

I just recently started purchasing 'As Is' items and have had 100% success, which is about 50% more success than I've had with purchasing full price items. Go for it. You can send it back if you don't love it.

Yes that is the size, 6 1/2'. Wanted the 7 originally , but the 6 is a nice size as well. I hope you find one soon , just keep checking they do seem to pop in and out .

I've bought plenty. I especially look for VPH items.....her Dickens Carolers, lit pumpkins and the Glitter Candle with flicker wick are my best purchases. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the tree. Enjoy

I've never had anything from the AS IS section that wasn't first quality in perfect condition but I've only bought jewelry. I know some who've purchased bags were not as pleased.

Hi Lucy: You inspired me to look in the As Is section and ended up ordering a set of Valerie's glitter reindeer ($17.00) . I think you also have those if I remember correctly. They shipped today so I hope they come in good shape. Kirklands has a similar (if not the same set) for $29.99 so I'm hoping these are nice. I'll let you know when I get them. I was also looking at the velvet pumpkins but I couldn't pass up those reindeer and opted to spend the money on those. Thanks for your input.

I've always had good luck with 'as is' items. Last June I ordered the Buddha Curl hoops from Novica on an 'as is' ezpay basis, and they were perfectly fine.

Well...my reindeer came today and the standing one is broken in two places. I may see if some superglue will hold it as I got them at an "as is" price but unless it comes out perfect, back they go. So disappointing. Obviously, no one at the Q even opened the box to look as it was obvious when I opened the box. Ugh!!

MTH, I am so sorry your Reindeer came broken. I did order the Velvet Pumpkins, two sets of multi and one of the pumpkin color and a set of the minis in multi. I love them. I did have to remove the rice hulls from the folds in the velvet and hot glue a couple of the stems that were loose on one side but now they're great.

I have VPH white reindeer set from a few years ago that came with a couple legs broken and I glued them since they were sold out at the time. I use them but if you look closely at them you can tell they're repaired. I just got a wall BO lamp in As Is and shade was all dented so I returned it. I guess it happens but still very frustrating.

I've ordered 2 items as is that I would advise other people to buy. They came perfect and because they were cheaper made me feel like I got a deal. The temptations pumpkin pie dish is perfect for this time of year. I have used it twice already. Then I received the 18" red coat Old World Santa and it looks much more expensive than it is. At regular price, the santa was a good deal. As is price the santa is a must buy.
