In our camper we have pleated day/night shades. They are white on the bottom and maroon on the top. Since the camper is 10 years old the white parts are getting pretty old looking. I do vacuum them but If I could figure out a way to clean them it would be great. I have spot cleaned occasionally with some oxiclean on a q tip but I'm looking for something more general. I took down the curtains last fall and took them home to wash, iron and mend where necessary. Now I have them ready to rehang but I would like to clean the blinds first. Do you all think if I use my handheld steamer to clean them it would take out the pleats?
