You may recall you gave me some advice on furniture finishing and now I am asking for more...

I have stripped, cleaned up and painted the dresser I was fixing up for my granddaugher but I am having a terrible time with brush strokes on the surface of the dresser!! The weather has not been a problem, I painted early mornings when the weather was cool and not muggy.

I have painted with a satin paint, using first a new, good quality brush, then I tried a foam roller. I am not overjoyed with the results. It's not horrible but if there was a trick to getting a nonbrush stroke finish I would appreciate knowing the 'secret'.

I do not want to buy a sprayer, which I think would probably be better but I don't want to purchase a sprayer.

Over the years I have redone many pieces of furniture, some painted some stained, I can't remember having this problem before, to me staining is sooo much easier. Thank you for any advice you can give me..
