<title>topic Haier Cannot Produce Repair Parts in Home</title>
    <link>https://community.qvc.com/t5/Home/Haier-Cannot-Produce-Repair-Parts/m-p/174436#M3479</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;Purchased the Haier 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner w/11,000 BTU Heater (item V17398) on April 4, 2011. The item no longer cools or goes below 77/76 degrees no matter what it is set on (lowest is 61 degrees). Called warranty repair service who came to the house 2 weeks ago and determined there was a freon leak. Parts were ordered. Got a call now saying MANUFACTURER (Haier) does NOT have the parts in stock and does NOT know if or when they will be available. OKAY, so now what do I do? The product is STILL under the 1-year warranty (and will remain according to repair service anyway). Sure, there is a chance they may come in, but if they don't, I would hope Haier would stand by their warranty statement and replace at no cost to us. Need it desparately, as it is pretty darn hot down here in sunny FL! &lt;/P&gt;</description>
