We do. There is a difference. The guidelines for ordering are just that, guidelines. DH and I are just the opposite of what's recommended. He's average height and at perfect weight while I'm a couple of inches taller and overweight. He prefers the medium while I prefer the firm. The medium has more room for the pieces of foam to move around and creates a looser, mushier feel. The firm has more pieces of foam in the same amount of space. IMO it provides more support but still provides a cushiony comfort at the same time. I sleep better on my My Pillow than I have on any other. I even bring it with me when I'm spending the night somewhere.

Does anybody have both the firm and medium? Is there a big difference and which do you prefer? Sue

If you buy the firm and it is too firm, you can always remove some of the filling. I have done this. I found the medium of the My Pillow with the gusseted side was too soft so I stole some of the filling from a firm one. Both are just right now. I was just thinking this morning when I woke up how much I like My Pillow.

Thank you. I did buy the firm and it is too firm for me but ok for my husband. I am afraid the medium will be too soft. I went to BBB last night to check the medium but the floor sample was the firm.

The first My Pillow I got was at BBB with a coupon. It was a little too large and a little too firm for me so my husband is using it and loves it. I then got the My Pillow from the Q. It is slightly smaller than the BBB one. I am not sure they were offering a choice of firmness at the time I purchased. I liked it a lot and wanted a second one and chose the one with side gusset. It was too soft. So then I got a set of 2, one firm and one medium. I took some of the filling from the firm one and put it in the gusset one. So that meant the firm and the gusset one are about perfect. And I put the medium in the guest room. We take them with us when we travel and it is nice to have spares. Good luck on your search.

Do your pillows have zippers that you are able to remove the filling? The pillows I purchased have blue piping all around the pillow.

I just used a seam ripper to remove the stitching on the piping near where the label is attached. You can kind of tell where the piping ends come together. I opened up the seam about 3 inches, dug out the filling and then sewed it back up on the sewing machine. I would think you could also do a whip stitch to close up the seam if you do not have a sewing machine.

I bought the last tsv in queen/firm. I figured if it was too firm, I could always take some stuffing out. It's only been a couple months, but it has loosened up. I didn't like it at first, but kept using it anyway. About three weeks in, I discovered I liked it alot.
