Wet and Forget

There was a thread a couple of years ag regarding this product. You spray it in the shower after the last one of the day, and it is supposed to keep your shower clean from soap scum and also help keep tile and grout clean from mildew. I wanted to try it because it says no bleach and fragrance free.

i saw some not so good reviews on these boards for using it outside, but I am only interested in using it inside. Has anyone had luck in a shower with tile and grout?

My sister used to keep a jug of Wet & Forget and a squeegee in an upper level add-on shower and it was understood that you did that job when you finished showering. It worked ok for cleaning the shower door, but she had a mold problem in there that the W/F wouldn't touch.

We use something with that name for moss on the driveway.

I use a product called Fresh Shower, a clear liquid you lightl6 spray on your wet shower and walk away. I've used it for years, wouldn't be without. I never have soap scum or mildew, chrome bright and shiny, no water spots on anything.

Keep in mind that I live in a desert climate where dampness is not a problem.

Wet & Forget Outdoor is not an immediate cleaner, spray on, no scrubbing, no rinising, walk away & it cleans over time with wind-rain...green stains take 1-2 weeks, moss & black stains take a few months to fade. I used it on a large shed that's not near any water access, it worked great but patience is needed. I haven't used their shower cleaner so can't help with that. @Blondie59

I get the "REFILL" size (!!!) We have hard (and dirty) water because of above-ground reservoirs...

I also use the Outdoor Wet & Forget on my vinyl fence, deck, patio - works great but over time. I'm going to try it on my driveway. My husband first used it years ago on the deck - I thought it was a waste of money - surprised how well it worked.

I always used Clean Shower, then forgot about it for some reason when we moved.

It works really well!

I am on my 2nd bottle of Wet and Forget....and IMHO, it works equally as well.

BUT it is $ and there are no refills yet that I see (Walmart)

BIG thanks to those reminding me of Clean Shower!

Into my Wally cart it goes!

Thanks all for your comments. I looked at the Clean Shower label, and saw Fresh Scent, which is a showstopper for me. Any kind of scent, no matter how light can cause respiratory problems for my husband. Wet and forget claims "unscented", so we'll see. I did a big cleaning of the tub and tile over the weekend, lots of rinsing and fans in both windows. Not fun, but it's as clean as it's going to be, lol.

I found it at Target, it will be delivered this afternoon. Fingers crossed.

We have an acrylic shower with caulking. The Wet It stuff works well on the acrylic but does not keep the caulking from mildew or mold. Still trying to figure out how to keep the caulking clean.

Where we lived in Jacksonville, FL, several neighbors used it on their roofs to get them clean and their driveway.

I was wondering if I have to clean my shower before I start using it. Like, is it just preventive or must you start using it if your shower is spotless?

I use it, it helps with water spots. But the price has really increased over the past two years. I used to pay $13 for the 64 oz bottle, the last bottle I bought was $20.
