QVC sold many collectibles in the early years ... aside from coins, sports memorabilia and cuckoo clocks, there were Marie Osmond Dolls, Cabbage Patch dolls, Fenton Art Glass, Precious Moments figurines and the other "must haves" of the day. So this isn't anything new really.

HSN has always sold coins. I always find those presentations like watching paint dry. Not something I'm interested in watching.

One of the grands wants one from the mint for the 250th and those seems to be on advanced order.

@Tinkrbl44 My DH collects coins. I purchased some coins from HSN for his birthday earlier this month. They were coins I couldn't find anywhere else. But my DH says that the prices for coins on HSN are not good. Didn't know QVC sold coins. But if it is the same vendor that sells on HSN, QVC's prices might also be high.

My husband collects coins too. He didn't like the items or the prices of what HSN offered. Assuming QVC is selling similar items. He buys his coins directly from the mint, other sources online, and local coin shows.
