More fun with Fall Picks.....

Well I'm decorating for Fall and was looking for a way to Fall-ify my always up lighted Aspen/Birch tree.

I usually drape it with a fall leaf garland, which looks like a tree draped with a leaf garland (not really the effect I want).

So I found these yellow eucalyptus (looks sorta like the beautiful Fall colored leaves of Aspen in the Fall) picks on Amazon (super cheap $11.99 for 6) and arranged them like they were growing out of the trunk (secured with clear thingies).

I thought about plucking the leaves off and spray painting the plastic branch part white to blend in better and then putting leaves back on but I think it looks ok brown (I think?). I still need to do some adjusting....

These picks are ones I'm sending back, just took a picture to show what the ones I used looked like before using them....

@GingerHead I love your decorating idea. I have a lighted birch tree from Valerie and I think I will copy your idea. The pics are so pretty too and inexpensive
