I've been watching this brand called Slip from Bloomingdales.

Yes, it used to be less expensive but it went from 115 to 93 on the holiday. This is 100 percent silk now and should be easy care for washing.

So I got it on sale for 93.00 and purchased it and hence the review and my only one, ha.

Of course it was a big expense but I've always wanted to try it.

There is a variety of colors and I choose the white/off white shade.

I usualy change my cotton head pillows every three days but found this one lasted for 5 days. (I was so curious about the washing and drying. and forever complaints.)

It is because they are not the real 100 percent silk but I find worth every dime. I am so much cooler sleeping this past week and no there is no slipping whatsoever....don't listen unless it's 100 percent silk.

I only have one in ivory/white whatever, and I washed it today.

I hand washed in a tub in kitchen (to check) with a drop of free and clear detergent, rinsed, and then put it in the dryer at a low temperature. Then took it out damp, placed it out on top of dryer and it is almost dry with no wrinkles and most likely use tonight.

And again, yes the real deal is cooling and one does not slip like I've seen on Amazon. But it is Amazon, what can you expect.

Once in awhile a spurge is worth it on sale!

@Pink123. I don't understand. You paid $93., for a silk pillowcase that's not really silk? Why?

If you would like to sleep on pure mulberry silk, give it a try, I love it. It is dry now almost but an investment piece I will not regret.

No wrinkles, pricey yes but the coolest no slip pillow case I've ever tried. It is wonderful. 10 stars!

I purchase my silk pillowcases from Blissy they are 100% 22-Momme 6A Grade Mulberry Silk. They have sales with up to 55% of and by 3 get one free. They come in multiple colors.

I personally would question any 100% Mulberry silk pillowcase at a price that's under $80.00. You get what you pay for. I have one Slip Silk pillowcase I bought from Tatcha in their purple color when they carried it and it was $89.00 for a Queen. I bought during their 20% sale, so got it for less. I have had it for years and it's still in great shape. Mostly because I wash it on delicate and only air dry. But there are different grades and thicknesses that make up for the higher cost. I purchased another one on Amazon a few years before the Slip brand, and it was awful. So yes you can get one for less, but it will be super thin, not soft, and it won't be anywhere near the same quality that some of the other high end brands like Slip are. I figure if I am going to indulge in something it better be worth it.

@spumoni99 I think it must have been posters who were already familiar with this type of pillowcase, so they realized that's what she was talking about. Because the OP said nothing about pillowcases. I was in the dark, too.

Thank you @KittySoftPaws as you understand. It is dry tonight with not one wrinkle. I thought I would sleep on a nice cotton pillowcase tonight and it is not working. I'm warm again. You do get what you pay for in this life.

I'm putting the "slip" back on for myself only right now.. And I must say I got a blowout on Tuesday for hair. Tomorrow is Sunday and it's still perfect. Which usually it is not after three or four. I think I can go a full week with this pillow case. And ps, my face nor hair does not move a bit either. A great nights sleep the past few nights and it is offers so much cooling.

Although I never heard of this product, the OP mentioned pillows, so I figured and realized she was talking about pillow cases.

I thought the post was about a pillow or a complete set of bedding. A single pillowcase never entered my mind.
