Designer Marea Clark could even get me to liking yellow more, with this one--

So simple, yet distinctive. Traditional, but not stale. Even the exuberant tennis players don't keep the room from an air of tranquillity---

Like the idea she did in this guest room below, of having the desk serve as a common night stand for each bed. Soothing shell pink and taupe-y color scheme. The soft globe lamps, very pretty, thinking they might be alabaster...

And a third, and last one from Marea, this one in Laguna Beach, California. There's her affinity for charming old spool beds and gentle prints. Love the French doors, tulip table and antique chest.

Having this as your view outside of the house doesn't hurt, either....

And lastly, unfortunately I don't remember who the designer of this is-- could be Thom Filicia. Strong, a little more masculine and contemporary, but still serene and welcoming, to my mind.

Such lovely rooms, I love the freshness of the bedding and furnishings and I swear I can smell the sea air coming thru that open door in the last photo of that gorgeous view!

I absolutely love Marea's bedrooms! They are completely my style; there's literally nothing I don't love about them! The last one is nice, too, just a little bit different vibe.

I'll take the last bedroom but it has to come with that stunning view of the ocean...and I want an easy walking path to get to the water.

I like the first one a lot.(except the drapes don't go with all the lightness I think).

And all are very calming

The view is breathtaking!

I like all the bedrooms except for the drapery which I feel is too heavy, especially the second one.

The third bedroom is just beautiful, love everything especially the bed and the french doors.

Sorry, my dear @Oznell .

First bedroom, too *flat*. Can't think of any other way to describe it.

Second bedroom, the nuns (not sure what order SSJ-perhaps?) have a place here and I imagine the bedrooms look quite the same.

Third bedroom, no, just no. Very Jenny Lind (sp?) and who was Jenny?

Is that Paradise Cove? If it is, what a waste of real estate!

The fourth bedroom is tolerable. But all those pillows. Looks like an eject button waiting to happen!

I have a cramped, chaotic bedroom now---more like a storage room --have a very small apt now, with very little storage space. I aspire to a calm, lovely bedroom---and the ones pictured here are gorgeous. somday.....maybe.....

@Oznell, they are all lovely and peaceful. My bedroom is sage and lavender and I find it very calming. I like that it is uncrowded with a queen size bed and an armoire, I also have a chair and a lamp. I do really like the blue and yellow in the first photo.

The bedrooms are filled with calm and peace, places to rest in, and sleep. I love the drapes which give the rooms a warm feeling. I would add a few pieces of art on the walls, just a few which add some color and peaceful scenes. While I am a person who likes more in a home as far as decor is concerned, I do like the idea of these quiet, uncluttered bedrooms.

Yes, all are 'calm'. The first three are lovely. The last is nicely done, if not to my taste and reads more like a somewhat upscale hotel room.
