Paint sprayer

I am looking for a small paint sprayer...just for small painting projects, small stands or chairs. Has anyone purchased one they were happy with?

We have a Wagner portable paint sprayer, the box says QX2. We've used it for little jobs and it did a good job once I got the hang of it.

My husband has a professional paint sprayer. He paints cars.

I have a Wagner. It works great, but you have to be careful with it. If you paint outside on a windy day, paint travels. You get overspray everywhere.

Be sure to stay away from your house and car and cover the ground if you paint on your deck or sidewalk or concrete driveway windy day or not.

Sometimes I just use a paint brush. I only paint when the wind is calm. It is fun to use if you're careful and take precautions.

For my smaller jobs, I used to use just a can or two of Rustoleum.

I use a lot of cans of spray paint. Have done some pretty big projects using it.

I am not against spray paint but the project I am working on the color of paint I want is not a color I can get in spray can.

I use Rustoleum spray cans for lots of projects. I always use a Q-tip to check inside my nose for possible paint color. Got to a point where I use the supply of COVID masks when I am spraying whether outside even on a n9n-windy / breezy day or in my garage.

If the job is big enough ( umbrella stand with several arms or a tall wine rack ), I opt for a small paint brush and can of the paint.

Maybe an air brush? They're great for detailed work and smaller projects. They might be a little too small for some of the things you'll want to paint. They can be a little fussy but can do a great job.
