The kitchen is very pretty although I'd prefer some color. The rest of the house is much too ornate and garish for me.

I love everything especially the formal dining room. This is one instance where the heavy drapes look perfect. Beautiful chandelier.

That is my dream kitchen, especially all those light loving windows.

I love this. Southern women are the best at decorating. That comes from their old world families, I believe. Many Southerner ladies were descendants of Europeans.

Nice home.

Like the dining room - wallpaper, chairs, other furniture, mirror, . . . and the flowers are just the right mix of colors and texture that complement the room.

Nice living room, too - the watercolor look to the painted wood bookcase, the green velvet chairs, the fireplace with the bas relief and marble surround, the painted dresser, . . .

Way too much of everything for me. Too ornate, too cluttered. I like simplified and absolutely no gilt (which I find garish).

There are two things I do like: the full-length balcony and the rooftop terrace.

Having said that, if I had the money, I still wouldn't buy this house. (Hate all the ostentatious columns.)
