I just received a 1999 Jim Shore angel figurine named Rose from ebay that actually has real feathers for wings. This figurine predates the angels that QVC sold starting in 2004 I believe Quite a find for me. I really like his earlier work done in 1999.

That's quite a find! I honestly don't remember any of Jim Shore's angels looking like this but I doubt I was "into" his work in the 90s. That's so different than the angels he creates now. Congrats on your lovely find.

Very cute and looks like it's an angle that's appropriate year round, not just for holidays.
