If You Have A Big Shower.......

I found shower/tub nonslip mats that increase your safety!

The second night I before, skidded a little bit! Luckily, I was holding a safety bar!

Amazon bath tub mat. 40 x 16. My shower floor used 2.

This is not my bathroom but I have this type; minimal nonslip.

@ECBG I am a bit confused, did you almost slip with the mats or before they arrived?

When I had a new shower installed I was told not to use a mat...and if I did to pull it up after each shower use...were there any instructions for using a mat in your new stall?

I realize that is not your actual shower but that is good looking and big!

Our shower pan was custom made and is non skid. The shower pan in the main bath is like the picture.

I have a shower pan that looks just like that but it's textured or kinda like pebbley so that it's not slippery. Glad you found mats to work for you and you didn't fall.

Yes, I skid a little before the safety mats came! I have scoliosis and arthritis in my back. Thank goodness I was holding on to a safety bar!

My shower walls are like this, safety bars are black as all faucets etc are in my bathroom. I use a shower curtain.

Thanks for the info! This will make a great gift for a friend! She travels a lot and she never like the bath mat that are in the hotels. She brings her own! Maybe she will like this for travel!

Walmart sells a similarly-sized bathmat. I bought one after my first shower here at my apartment. The tub here is insanely slick and smooth. It's like showering while standing on ice. I don't know if they waxed it or what, but I had to hold onto the grab bars to stay safe.
