I am excitedly awaiting delivery of my new Speed Queen TR7, which will hopefully be delivered Friday. I was reading the online manual, because I am THAT excited...lol...and the plethora of cycles and how they function are amazing. It got me to thinking about how I wash my towels and I wondered...

On what cycle do you wash your towels and at what temperature?

I'm wanting a new washer dryer set and I'm adamant about getting a speed queen brand but no where in my are has them locally. I've done some research and saw a place that sells them but I'm very apprehensive about ordering online.

I have an LG front loader...it has a "towels" cycle, but I never use it. I use the "Normal" cycle for almost everything. For towels, I use warm water. They've always come out smelling fresh & clean!

Just curious.

I have a top loader with an agitator, I use the heavy setting with hot water & since there's no hot rinse anymore I wash them a second time in hot water without soap...that's my hot rinse. I use Wisk Free & Clear, no fabric softener.
