Do you and your partner share a cover

At home we have had covers for as long as I remember. Since we are at a hotel we are sharing a cover and he is a cover hog I can not wait to get home

You mean you each have your own blanket/sheet for each one of you?

We have a (split) king, but my husband sleeps in the middle and we share the top sheet and the covers.

I always say, our room would be so much bigger if we slept in a twin because he's always on my side of the bed.

DH and I have a king and share a comforter. He also has a twin size blanket that he likes to wrap around himself. He is a very quiet sleeper, more so than me!!! so no problems there! BUT if I it were my choice, I'd get 2 twins!!

Maybe wherever you are staying would allow you an extra cover, so you don't have to share.

We have separate bedrooms, which is the bee's knees! He likes a loud fan blowing, and I can't stand noise or air on me. He likes few covers, and I like several. It's a win-win.

Do you have housekeeping service? I am sure they would be more than happy to hand you an extra blanket.

I don't get the "issue". How difficult is it to ask for or find any extra sheets, blankets, throws...whatever. It's a hotel, lol!!

@I am still oxox One king bed, sheets, blanket, and comforter, two pillows each. I have to have the ceiling fan on, one floor model on my side and he has his if he chooses to turn it on. He learned to like the fans and now he can't sleep without them. Oh and 1 small dog 😊

I've never heard of any hotel, almost anywhere on the price spectrum, that wouldn't and couldn't provide extra blankets.

Especially at the very, very high end. The concierge desk could readily accommodate this request.

I can't remember ever staying anywhere where there wasn't an additional pillow and blanket provided somewhere in the room. Either in a bottom drawer, or luggage rest, or top shelf in the closet.

It's not an uncommon request.

ok since i cannot post non issue.......sigh

i have stayed in a bajillion hotels. and had a 6 month extended in a marriot. i have never had an issue with getting extra blanket/sheet/towels etc.

and

while at the extended i had packages delivered frequently. i could have had anything delivered that the hotel did not provide.

and

b n m shopping was usually close by.

no way would i be wanting a blanket for weeks when i could get one in a flash

This problem seems like it could be rectified with good ole fashion common sense. I agree with the others...hotel staff is there to make sure their guests have what they need. So, if you need an additional blanket (cover) then ask them for one. Why wouldn't you ask as soon as it became a problem? I'm sure this stay is costing into the thousands since it's been many weeks so I'm guessing the hotel staff would accommodate. Makes no sense to me...

This is what they do, day in and day out. Nothing confusing about a guest needing an extra cover. Just call housekeeping or the front desk and ask. They will be happy to accommodate you. This is a very common request in a hotel.
