I ran into a Kristein-Jorg video called The Sweetest English Cottage You'll Ever See.

I don't agree with swapping the sitting room and dining room; an accident is just waiting to happen, especially with soups!

@ECBG -- that was a cool video! One of their most interesting, I think. An oval house is amazing, and Kirsten is right-- it almost doesn't seem real in that magical setting!

I agree about the dining room-- it's quite eccentric to have it on a different floor, down a flight of stairs. A disaster waiting to happen.

Despite the wallpapers being rare and unusual, I don't care for their boldness in a small cottage. To me, it made the house seem more 'disjointed', and truth be told, I'm only a fan of wallpaper in very small, judicious doses. If one of the bedrooms had it, that would be enough for me in the entire cottage.

What do you think?

LOVED the kitchen, so pretty, oh my goodness. You know I'm a sucker for Gothic windows, and that cupboard!

I like to make spaghetti Bolognese too, and theirs looked good. Especially eating it outside in that charming garden...

The Wedgwood connection was neat-- it was amusing hearing Kirsten pronounce it in her charming accent, something like "Wetchwood"-- at first, I wasn't sure what she was saying.

What a bonus that they were near where Constable painted, and got to see the real life settings of his work.

I agree about the wall papers; much to agressive! Maybe a spaced out muriel in the master bedroom.

Walls like that have a life and story to tell.
