It's hard for me to find perfection! I really dislike some colors and don't like some furniture.

I just thought this home was beautiful!

His out building is quite nice too!

Wow! This really is a beautiful place, inside and out!

I love the layout of all the rooms. They're quite large with awesome woodwork. I really love the stone fireplace, metals, leather furnishings and light fixtures too. To me, the kitchen looks perfect and very functional.

I love the house. It it beautiful and classic inside and out. I would get rid of all the awful furniture in it though! It looks too somber. I'd repaint for sure.

The out-building could go too!

Georgeous home inside and out. I wonder what it's like to live that way? I'd like to try it for a week or so!

Anyway, I detest a black and white checkered floor. Other than that, I love everything!

To each their own. Very stiff, formal. Deer & sheep antlers on the wall? Not so much.

I agree it is a beautiful home and property. Considering the size of the house, the cost, pool maintenance, and stairs it would not be perfect for me.

Had to laugh! Who in their right mind would put carpet right up to the shower door or around a tub???

I had a shower like that once and it wasn't pretty.

I don't think that because this house has more "formal" furniture that the people living there live differently from anyone else. I think they don't dress formally at home, flop on the sofa, have pets, eat in the kitchen probably and live pretty much like the rest of the world.

Some of the very contemporary houses with no comfortable furniture (which may be where we don't see it) might--but just because a house is large or pretty doesn't mean it isn't livable.

Kitchen is lovely, like the fireplace,but too many sitting areas,not crazy about it.

I can say that I don't think I could live in a home that huge...I'm more of a "cottage by the sea" type!

When taking a little tour of new homes near us when I lived in Texas, I remember thinking I wouldn't know how to make spaces that large feel "cozy" for my preference!
Your post inspired me to loo him up ... and his wife and family. Interesting.

Again, thanks for sharing.

As far as the carpet up to the wet shower and tub goes, only people who can afford to have it repaired (once per year) might choose to design this way.

I found something in each room to admire, though. This was fun!

@ECBG I like bits and pieces but I loathe any and all black and white floors. Plus I don't like a stairway that only has hand rails on one side.

Very nice. Love his voice. Love Brooks & Dunn. Their heyday is behind them, (though I think they are doing shows occasionally again), but what great songs during the height of their career! Hit after Hit after Hit. Some terrific ones that still sound great today. (ok, maybe we've all heard Boot Scoot Boogie enough, lol...but Neon Moon...beautiful...My Maria....If You See Him/If You See Her, and so many others I still love.)

Lovely home, elegant, comfortable.🏠 All those hits will buy you some nice digs. .

Ps. @ECBG Some of the browns/colors/style furniture, aren't my thing either, but overall, the home itself, nice.

I like some of the interior. But I absolutely hate the exterior. I don't find that style of house appealing whatsoever.

There is a street close to where I live with the most beautiful homes. Then some dumb@ss built that style of home - white with those pillars in front. It ruins the look of the whole street because it just does not fit in with the other houses.
