I love green! When everyone else had a blue kitchen, mine was green. We don't have any green walls; ours are mostly neutral shades. But our sofa and loveseat are green - similar to the shade I will post below. Our shag curtains were already there. They are a similar color, but lighter.

I love all of these greens, but I agree you that #10 is too much.

Green, essentially being my favorite color, over time anyway, there's a lot here that I like and, of course, some that I don't. My great room is painted Ruskin Room Green (Sherwin Williams, formerly Duron) and has been for over ten years now. I've not really tired of it though I often consider I might be ready for a change. It's called a 'historic' color, which is interesting. Some pictures below of it used in rooms, none of them are mine. Sometime I think I'd like to do a lighter spring green, but suspect that if and when I do the larger living space, I'll go with something completely different. Possibly even another Sherwin Williams color called 'Romance', which is a soft pink hue and possibly something I've yet to discover.

<IMG src="https://i.pinimg.com/originals/74/9c/62/749c628a532203ac7bf6c39b4fbeec46.jpg" border="0" alt="Here is the view from the dining room into the living room.

I have learned to like the colors of green in decor and fashion. The touches of green and the vignettes in the photos are lovely and enhance the rooms. I love the room in the Black Squirrel Farm photo and of course the porch, In photo 13, that printed covered chair is so pretty. Green does bring in the outdoors and all in all catches your eye in the rooms. Very nice!

It's especially nice if you have nice trees or greenery outside your windows because it just draws your eyes outward into nature. Green is my acsent color, I have a touch of it in every room and it just speaks to all the trees outside our windows.

You also mentioned pink in another post and I really love pink. I've not painted a room pink but it's on my wishlist because I think a soft pink would look so lush, glowy, soft and romantic. Be still my heart!
