I only have three cutting boards, and none of them are especially attractive. If I had several like the ones in the photo (and ample room), then I would display them.

@ECBG , I have just three of various sizes and different wood grains layered against my backsplash; then, on another wall, hanging below a little mirror with pegs, I have two more hanging. Only one is truly "vintage", but I think it lends a little 'oomph' to the others. I'm crazy about the feeling and characteristics of different woods.

Yes, I have several on display, I also have a square footed board. I love them and use them stacked on top of each other as a decorative accent.

Absolutely. We have the most gorgeous one with blue resin on half that looks like the ocean. We also have one that my nephew made and engraved with "Hale Nalu" which means the surfer house.

I have four wooden cutting boards on my kitchen counter. They are standing up vertically leaning against the side of my refrigerator.

I used to store them away, but it was too much trouble to get them out several times a day.

One is an expensive gift given to me by my son. It is huge and made up from different types and colors of wood.

Another was handmade by my BIL who builds furniture as a hobby. He also has his own wood kiln to dry wood.

I also have two smaller not so pretty ordinary boards that I use often.

My kitchen is more functional than decorative. I don't have any non functional display items in my kitchen.

No, but I like the display in the picture. I used to disp!ay things above my kitchen cabinets, but I've streamlined things to make housekeeping easier.

I have a collection of different size charcuterie boards and wooden cutting boards displayed on and in a Hoosier cabinet my great aunt left me in her will
I actually won a cutting board at a open house a couple weeks ago my husband and I couldn’t help but laugh because I had just said I didn’t need any more cutting or charcuterie boards , next day I won one lol 😂

While I think they look lovely displayed in the above photo, I store mine in the cupboard. Mine are strictly utilitarian.

@ECBG Yes I would and I do. I have my John Boos maple cutting board on the counter between a cabinet and the oven. I have two glass boards for decoration. One is bright red tomatoes propped on the backsplash of my stove and the other is red and black chickens.

I use my Boos block daily and it also reverses to a charcuterie board.

I have made my kitchen a happy place and it is enjoyable to cook in it. Touches of whimsy can be fun and functional.

Yes, I do, I have the one sold by HSN with the shape of Virginia on my wall in the kitchen. I had so many compliments on it from my friends that it made my Christmas shopping easy that I purchased more as gifts. It was a big hit.

My late husband was a master woodworker by trade. My son must have inherited that gene because he enjoys woodworking as a hobby from his daytime job as a chemist. He made these cutting boards for me and a few relatives. The light colored wood is Rock Maple and dark wood is Purple Heart. He beveled a handle grip on both sides for easy gripping and lifting. I keep them leaning against the wall on my kitchen counter.

My sis has a gorgeous cutting board with the most incredible wood grain pattern.

She has it on display....and doesn't use it.

The only one I have out all the time on my counter top is a tempered glass one with a winery scene on it. I bought it from the Q ions ago and it has served us great! I don't recall the company name but I searched for it and it came up Tuftop which isn't familiar but the look is similar. I do have a couple of wooden ones that are nice and if I had more room in my kitchen I would display them.
