I'm not very active on the site but I do sometimes come in to read, I know some of the girls in here have been looking for an arch lantern so I thought I would tell you guys that I seen one in Ross today, it's plastic bit I had no idea it was until I went to pick it up to take its picture, it looks just like the heavy glass ones I have at home. The best part? It's $9.99!! Hmmmm..can someone tell me how to upload a picture on my iPhone?

Hi maddiesmama! Do you mean upload a pic from your IPhone to the forum? I would love to see pics of the lantern.

I connect my phone to my laptop, then let Snapfish do the rest.

You have to sign up for the Snapfish service. After Snapfish uploads the pics to your computer you can chose the pics you want to send to Snapfish. It creates a file. Then you can just copy a pic from your Snapfish file to the forum using copy & paste.

Sounds easy but it has a learning curve!

Good job. The price is good. I don't know that I've been in a Ross store. My guess is it's similar to Gordman's.

By the way, I didn't see our favorite red wooden arched lantern on the VPH set this weekend. Did anyone else notice its absence? Odd I guess, but my eyes were scanning the set for that lantern instead of admiring the presented items.

I caught myself looking for that lantern in the set too. I did notice one on the hearth of the fireplace but not the infamous red one. It did look like it was red though but didn't have an arch.

The finials caught my eye but the silver and blue look a little plastic-y and weird to me. Caught a glimpse of a table vignette with the red and green finials and it just didn't click.

I thought I might like something GB related but nothing I can live without.

Great lantern MM! It has has everything except the color! I shop at TJMaxx and Marshall's locally but there's no Ross here.

Has been a while since I have been around. Have been busy and we took a short vacation to just get away for awhile. Was good to get away but nice to get home too. Haven't seen Rosehill for a while suppose she has been busy this summer.

I did get the mini GB houses and ordered the cloche with mirror the other night. Figured it gave me enough time to look around and see if I can find one that compared before it is shipped. I tried to catch Val's shows. I thought this was a great Xmas in July. Lots of new things. I am sure from now on, it will all be repeats except for maybe Val having a few new things.

Maybe on of the bigger GB houses in Aug will have to come to your house. I was happy to see the little ones as I don't have room for another big one.

Have a good week WL. It is suppose to be a really hot one here for a few days.

Did you get the little GB houses? I have not really looked closely at anything; trying not to be tempted. I have too many of the large houses; really went overboard on them two years ago. Just the micro lights for me.

I'm still hoping Val come thru with our dream red lanterns. That is something I would definitely buy.

Hi JPC & Whitelinen! I haven't been around much, as I have been watching my grand daughters a lot. I also helped my 91 year old mom with a garage sale last week. I need to get busy doing some things around here! Probably the same is true for you two! Nice that you got away for a little vacation, JPC.

Whitelinen, are the micro lights different than the micro lights listed under Lisa Robertson's Christmas items? I am tempted with hers, but they have not been presented, and I would like to see them. I also would like to see her cloche presented.

JPC, the little gingerbread houses you ordered are sweet. I hope you love them. I only ordered two sets of those Valerie white diamond studded little spheres that look like snowballs-that is it. Didn't even need those, but I loved them.

Haven't received the mini houses yet, last I looked they were still in process. Guess it doesn't matter if an order is placed a day or two before the item is shown, still takes awhile to get out of process. I have seen where others ordered them and they have been shipped so mine should be shipped soon.

I ordered the mini cause I have enough of the large and do have a couple of places in mind to put these. I hope I don't fall in love with the big ones when she brings them in August. I will have to sit on my hands and if that doesn't help, will have Mr. Crazy tie them behind my back. I did order the micro lights at the last minute last night. Good price since I paid $10.00 a string at our local florist shop a couple years ago. Are these the same ones that Valeries sells???

I think I have enough lanterns to do me but who knows if Valerie comes thru with the red one if I will be able to resist.

Good seeing you. I figured you were busy with the little ones this summer and a garage sale on top of it. You have been one busy little bee. I haven't had a garage sale in a long time, so much work. Hope you had a good turn out and got rid of a lot.

Those little spheres were beautiful rosehill. Bet you will love them and find just the perfect spot for them.

I you watch the video on the cloche rosehill, if I remember right, she also talked about the micro lights. I also don't know if she was presenting Val's micro lights or not. Haven't taken the time to check that out.
