The nutcrackers look really lovely—sort of elegantly aged!

I used to love to give wood furniture a shabby chic look. Yet another hobby I no longer have time or space for.

I love refinishing, aging, faux finishing things. It's amazing what a little paint can do...

@GingerHead !!! I can't believe it-- the pictures this time, don't show up for me. Remember when you first posted your new finds-- I and most posters could see them, but at least one person ( or 2?) could not?

Well, now I can't, bummer! I'm sure you did a fantastic job. If anyone knows how to re-post them in maybe a different format, do tell.

For anyone who knows.....

I wish I could figure out what I'm doing wrong, the first pictures I copied and pasted from my personal pictures (which always seem to display for a short period and then disappear?)

The second set I copied and pasted from my images, hopefully they'll stay up for awhile....but who knows!

@GingerHead. All I see are little green boxes, which often happens when people cut and paste photos. This is not the proper way to post photos.

@GingerHead. Now your images have miraculously appeared. You did a nice job on them.

When posting photos, you have them in a file or gallery on your device. Go to the blank screen where you want the picture to appear. Click on the spot. Click on the landscape icon in the header. Click on file and select your picture, click on it. Click "insert picture", then click on "Post".

These instruction are, or were on "Welcome, Get Started". Don't know if they're still there.

Yeah, I don't know what the heck is happening because half the time people can see my images and half the time they can't and they always seem to be visible when I first post them but then they seem to disappear after awhile....Strange!

I'm going to try and repost them using your instuctions now, even though I'm a little confused, thanks again!
