Amazon Brand Batteries

I am tired of spending money on Duracell that don't seem to last any longer than others. I have a lot of decor which needs AA, C & D's

Decided to try Amazon brand -- has anyone else had good luck with their brand (I've bought dollar store batteries and they worked OK)?

@homedecor1I have used them and believe they were about the same as other brands.

Amazon has Panasonic batteries sometimes less than Amazon Basics and they seem OK too.

i buy them by the hundreds this time of the year and the AMAZON BASICS are a good battery......and i like not having to spend duracell prices.

I have tried Amazon brand but cannot say that I was impressed.😐 I depend on Enegizer Max batteries for all of my decor function needs! Amazon currently has the best prices. Seldom am I disappointed.😊 Occasionally, I will purchase Duracell if the price is irresistible, and use them for anything else that requires batteries.👍

@homedecor1 @Duracell makes upgrade batteries that last much, much longer.

i went back and looked at my amazon history for batteries.....

along with the amazon basics, i have also gotten good deals on ALLMAX batteries, HAOHIYO batteries, and ACDELCO batteries.

I used to buy Sams brand they worked OK.

I'm traveling this year for Christmas holiday so of course, I won't decorate as I normally do. (I'm so happy last year I did full decorating for spouse he loved the house decorated). Maybe just a wreath on the door and put my tree up. I love my tree🎄

Therefore, I won't need a lot of batteries.

I've tried off brands and don't think they have the staying power.

Now I buy all my batteries, either Duracell Boost or Energizer Max, at Sam's Club or Costco when they have them on sale.

Lots of articles have been written about this subject. The concensus is that it all equals out in the end. Amazon batteries are cheaper but don't last as long as Duracell. So you can pay less but replace more often or pay more and replace less often.

Most reviewers recommend using Duracell in items where the batteries are difficult to replace like smoke detectors or garage door keypads or medical equipment . Something like remotes that don't take a lot of battery power? You're fine with cheap batteries.

I'm a big fan of Amazon brand of batteries. They're all I use. I've had great luck with them.

When we need AA or AAA we usually pick up Kirkland brand batteries at Costco. My old hearing aids used batteries. For a period of time I used the Kirkland batteries. They we're fine but I eventually set up a subscription for the Amazon brand which also were on par with the Kirkland, which I believe are made by Duracell (but not 100% certain).

Last year I got a bunch of AA's from Amazon for my light up Christmas stuff and they kept my decorations going until it was time to take them down. Maybe not the highest quality but certainly good enough.

I use them most of the time, especially for decorations that require batteries.

I do use Duracell for my smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
