KITCHEN WITH COPPER ACCENTS

Do you like the look of copper pots? I love warm copper, but do not like polishing.

One or two pieces are more my speed.

As to the kitchen generally, I like the variation in finishes-- rustic wood vs. polished stone or marble, light vs. dark.

And love glass-fronted cabinets, but would just have a few-- I don't have so many kitchen items I want on display all the time! Two of the glass-front would be perfect, with the rest solid, for me.

In the "having-the-best-of-both worlds" department, I was in Hobby Lobby and noticed a charming, hammered "copper" pitcher.

It has a copper finish, but is easy care stainless steel, AND labeled "food safe".

I'd have to fill it with fall branches! Not bad for $13 and change, on sale, I thought. Those vintage lines are pretty.

If you like polishing copper. They are 2 high maintenance 4 me.

While I like the pitcher, I don't like the copper pots hanging there. The rest of the kitchen is great.

I like the looks of that kitchen!

There are washed grays, alternating with creme color alternating with the light brown ofvthe chairs!

Very appealing!

I love everything about this kitchen. Didn't know copper was so high maintenance. Don't know why I didn't know that but certainly wouldn't want them for that reason. But I love the look anyway!

As much as I liked the pitcher, @LTT1 , I didn't purchase.

It's funny-- I love copper but don't have much at all. All I can think of right now, is my vintage Art Deco torchere floor lamp, which is a mix of a tarnished silvery metal on the shaft, and the rest in a muted copper. Oh, and a vintage copper mug -- I wonder where that is? Ha.

I wouldn't mind one more piece, but..... Too many metals appeal to me! Iron, brass, pewter, silverplate. I've had to be very strict with myself, and keep it to a minimum, sigh.

I love this kitchen but I would have covered cabinets instead of glass. I love copper and have a few pieces just for the look. They are very easy to polish with Bar Keepers Friend.

I love that kitchen. I wouldn't change a thing. I love copper too.

I have quite a few copper bottomed pans and a few that are 100% copper that I use for candy making.

I like the kitchen and am so glad to see something besides one that is completely white! Like you, I'd just have a couple of the glass fronts on the cabinetry. I would have liked a backsplash with some color but nothing that would clash with the veining in the marble. The bar stools are OK but I'd have something that I like a little better. I really like the copper hanging pots but wouldn't want to maintain them.

This looks very similar to my daughter's kitchen so, of course, we love copper and/or the look of copper. For some reason I don't mind polishing copper (I have always been the sweet mother that enjoys this task). Never liked polishing silver so not much left anymore. Love cooking with copper, too.

My kitchen has 3 oval copper pans...they are on the wall and not for using. So cleaning isn't an issue.

Stools at the island ( or anywhere ): more functional and comfortable if they swivel and have arms. Less likely to leave marks on the flooring from having to be pulled out.

Hanging light: that " clear " glass in a kitchen will need constant attention. A better and more decorative choice would have been stained glass to bring some cheerful color into the area.

The kitchen is beautiful, the ceiling beams and island are perfect as are the counters and stools.

I do not care for see through cabinets; as you noted one or two max.

There is too much copper, less is more. The wreath on the hood seems out of place.

Your pitcher is pretty and practical; a great buy!

I do like the kitchen very much. I wouldn't complain if it were mine!

As for copper, the look is pretty, and some find it therapeutic to shine. I have all stainless and easy care now.

I love everything about this kitchen. I love the copper accents also; although I wouldn't want them.

Regarding the glass cabinets. All my upper (white) cabinets are glass and coincidentally, look just like these. I do have two areas of open shelving, and my corner cabinets have solid doors (they house the "ugly" stuff like storage containers.)

When you have a lot of cabinetry glass cabinets prevent a heavy look. This kitchen speaks to me and posesses one of my biggest regrets: not installing marble counter tops. I have two different granites; one on the perimeter and one on the island (which is a darker wood.) I wish I had gotten marble on the white cabinetry.

I really like this Kitchen. I like the look of Copper and Stainless mixed. If it were all Copper it would be too much for me.

As far as Glass Doors on cabinets ..I like 1 or 2 glass doors as accents and the remainder solid wood.

I like copper accents. Don't like to clean them, but I like the look. Thi kitchen is very nice. I would be very happy there.
