I like it! It's so cheery and bright! I could definitely live with these colors. How about you? (From an article entitled "Should you paint your ceiling the same color as your walls? We ask the experts" from Homes & Gardens)

I admire their "boldness"! The colors are pretty, but I think I'd get tired of them very quickly. I'm a "white walls" girl...prefer adding color with accessories, linens, upholstery, etc.

I would like to visit there but I wouldn't want it in my house. Perhaps another color to replace the yellow.

@Jersey Born , it is bold and fun! And I say that as someone who doesn't decorate with yellow.

Yet, I enjoy seeing it in other houses. The palette here has more intensity than I'm drawn to-- but for someone who likes more depth of color, it's well done.

I immediately pegged it as the work of an English designer, for several reasons, but, mainly b/c of the color combo.

The Brits are much more likely to use yellow, from pale lemon to sunny gold, than we are. Plus, that shade of green. And traditional and folk Scandinavian interiors made liberal use of grass green, soft pink, warm yellow. I wonder if it has something to do with the climate.... These colors provide cheer on gray days.

The yellow is too 'mustardy' for me. It looks like the ceiling color would look better-or maybe it's just the lighting.

Dr. Seuss comes to mind when I look at this. It's certainly refreshing, but I wonder how long before I lived there would I scream, 'what was I thinking??' In other words, after the novelty wore off, I'd absolutely have to have the painters in that very day.

Yes! @Judaline - The colors remind me of a favorite Dr. Seuss book image, the image of "billowy billows of satin and silk marshmallow-stuffed pillows" in "I had trouble in getting to Solla Sollew". Those pillows had other colors, too, like blues and pinks, but there were definitely green and yellow pillows in that image of a dream the main character had.

@brandiwine - I would be very interested in seeing how a parrot that is green and yellow in color would behave in this room. Insects are naturally drawn to objects similar to them in color, but are birds the same? Possibly. For camoflage purposes and other reasons.

Definitely not for the faint of heart. I am afraid I would grow weary of it after a short while. It's too much, and not a single, calm, restful place anywhere to sooth the eyes.

No Thanks!!!! Years ago we painted our kitchen yellow and boy what a huge mistake. It showed every little thing and the color faded fast, and it just was not a good decision-NeverAgain!!

The green isn't bad, but maybe just one accent wall that color would suffice......

I love the colors, but I would need to buy a new and much larger home than I live in now because I couldn't use that room every hour of my day. And - that house would have to be somewhere it's likely to snow me in occasionally. I feel as if even with the A/C running that room would make me hot!

The previous owners of the house I now live in now were not only bold in the color choices but also with the ceilings. In the master bedroom and bathroom the ceiling was multi color faux...dark. Bedrooms (5) were very, very dark navy (almost black), bold red, burgurndy, 2 shades of green stripes in the dining room, frog green, a very dark brown....all with gold color ceilings. Not to my liking at all. It's just too much. It took nearly 6 years and thousands of dollars to paint the interior of my home.

Though not my taste I like it. I like to see people who use different color pallets and not just institutional white. I'm always drawn to rooms painted in an unusual color scheme. I'm not quite that daring.
