What fabric content do you like when buying sheets and pillows cases?

@Janey2100% cotton or cotton / linen blend.

I actually prefer the cotton linen blend because they have more body. Not as smooth but I like it.

I like a 60/40 --60% cotton and 40 % poly---not microfiber tho. The sheets I have now, are old but still in good shape and that's what they are. Got my most fave ones from JCP ,I'd say at least 15+ years ago and they still look good and feel good and I paid about $25 for full size on sale. Those were the good ole days----

100% cotton percale and cotton flannel in the winter. I have been purchasing my sheet sets at LL Bean for decades and absolutley love them! They have the best quality sheets IMO.

I like a cotton/poly blend that feels smooth and silky and doesn't wrinkle. I won't buy microfiber. Cotton looks terrible.

Cotton. Can't imagine sleeping in or on anything containing polyester, especially in Texas heat.

I have one set of mircofiber sheets and I hate them. I should donate them.

I don't like flannel either, even when we lived in a cooler climate I did not like them. I like my sheets to be cold when I get in them.

I'm the odd one out. I love microfiber sheets. Cool, comfortable, easy to care for. They last forever. I've used them almost exclusively for maybe the last ten years. They're great for me.

100% Supima Cotton sheets from LL Bean most of the year.

100% Cotton Flannel bottom sheet & 100% Cotton Supima top sheet from LL Bean usually in Jan., Febr. and March! It gets bitterly cold. That bottom sheet feels nice and toasty warm in Nebraska's winters. Sort of reminds me of having my husband to keep me warm years ago. (Crazy dreams of mine.)

100% Cotton

Bought a Northern Nights set last year, H263964, (on clearance now but no color I'd need in Queen left...if you're in the market, and they have a size/color you like, I highly recommend them.) Wish I'd gone back to get a 2nd set right away. Best sheets NN has offered on Q for years. Beautiful, soft, silky, no wrinkles...they feel delightful and look great. They are 400 TC, Supima Cotton. Wish QVC would restock them in new colors, patterns, anything!

The NN set I bought a few yrs before that are the worst. I still have them and use them but they were 600 TC Egyptian Cotton...thick, stiff, the worst, most wrinkly sheets I've ever owned. I kept them just because they went with a bedspread and I can still use them...but they are my worst sheets. They are a spare set but when I buy another set I love these are going!

I have very old NN 100% Cotton Flannels that need replacing. Searched around last year, and I think I looked at both LL Bean and Lands End...it was end of season and I didn't find what I wanted. This year I'll look again at LL Bean, base on the recommendations here.

Whoever mentioned Bamboo, I'll bet those are great too. Bamboo is expensive but a wonderful natural fabric.

@gardenman I guess both you and I are the odd ones out! I, too, like microfiber sheets. I don't find them hot at all. As a matter of fact, they're very cooling and always look good on the bed. No wrinkles or rumples and they come out of the clothes dryer like new.

NN rayon made from bamboo.
They wrinkle easily but feel so comfortable next to the skin.
