I Made a Rag Wreath!

First of all, I'm not crafty. It has to be pretty simple for me to attempt something. That's why rag wreaths have interested me. My youngest granddaughter loves bees and sunflowers (actually all sorts of insects and flowers). I saw these bee and sunflower fat quarters at the dollar store and decided to try a small wreath. I think it would work for all of summer and fall. Can't wait to give it to her.

I love the colors and mixture of patterns you used. I definitely see bees and sunflowers. Your granddaughter will love it.

You did an excellent job. I used to make them for all the seasons and sell them at craft shows. They really are nice looking. Your granddaughter will be thrilled.

@KingstonMom Hahaha! The term is hilarious, isn't it? I think that's what they're called. They are small rolls of material the $ store sells for $1.25. They measure about 18" by 21". You need to iron them when you get them home, because they come in a roll. Then you cut them up. If you have materials at home already, you don't have to buy them.

@Fressa Thanks! I'm new to crafting, so these are kinda new to me. I'm thinking of making some for my house for fall and Christmas.

@luvzchiz Thanks! Actually, I hung it from a drawer knob of my painted jelly cupboard. It's on an 8 inch ring.

Cute idea @PA Mom-mom . You could vary the colors and patterns and make them for a variety of holidays and seasons. Good mother/daughter project.

@Kachina624 That's what I told my daughter. She could do it with my granddaughter on a rainy day. I was thinking of taking a "kit" down to her the next time we visit.
