New cloche with mirror insert

For all the cloche lovers, what do you think about the new cloche with the mirror insert? It's listed on the Home Page under New Arrivals and has a Holiday Return policy.

Hi, mallemo. After seeing both this one and the sneak peek of the VPH cloche, I think they are both nice, but I am liking the VPH cloche better--The one with the choice of red or ivory bases and removable scenes inside.

I'm so glad to see the new items appearing prior to CIJ weekend. I check every morning to see what else has been added.

I like the idea of a mirrored insert, but I don't like the execution on H203479 as the mirror is simply balancing atop a standard cloche bottom and seems very unstable. I'm not much of a DIY-er, but the hobby/craft stores sell circular mirrors that could be used with cloches you already own in the same way.

I saw this & immediately added it to my wish list. I love the mirror part. I'm curious to know the dimensions of the upcoming VPH's cloche to compare. The decorating ideas are endless but we'll see as we approach this weekend!

I have been seeing Valerie's cloche on the preview shots, so quick though it's hard to get a great look at it . Love it from what I can see. Is it shown anywhere yet? Just waiting for the "sneak peeks". I'm not on Facebook and always so appreciate that Mallemo always posts with the link. Wonder shay wonderful items valerie will bring this christmas in July !? I do like the mirrored cloche Aldo,can think of tons of things to do with that one.

The only thing I didn't like about the mirrored cloche is, it said "clean with a dry cloth". Would there be some reason you couldn't wash it? It is glass.

MathisFan, I can't think of any reason why you couldn't wash the mirrored cloche, carefully.

I clean all my cloches with microfiber cloth. It is easy and they shine. When I used water some times it was hard to get the water spots off.

BornToShop, It's early and my brain is still foggy, but in comparing the two again, it looks like the mirrored one is actually the smaller of the two, but only slightly. HTH!

SHOPR, I am impressed you are only foggy when it's early lol! I' m in a state of fogginess 24/7 :~). I guess I'll have to wait for the actual presentations before I order. I just noticed this one is designed by Lisa Roberterson so no doubt it will be heavily promoted via her shows as well. Thanks for your sleuthing & diligence!

I bought a cloche yesterday at Marshall's for 10 dollars. I rummaged through my drawer that has odds and ends in and found a mirror that fits the cloche. I am happy with how it looks.

I like this! If I didn't already have a few it would be on it's way to me.

Out of desire and desperation during my cloche cravings period last year (remember when we were all on the hunt??) I cobbled together several of them. I bought the glass cloches and added bases. I combined a glass cloche with a carved antique silverplate serving dish and it's my most favorite. I haunted the resale shops, looking for base pieces that would fit the glass cloches--such fun!!

Now I'm on the lookout for an antique silverplate pedestal that will fit one of my glass cloches. Really like the look of glass & silver.
