BLACKBERRY FARM

Designer Tammy Connor does a lot of urban spaces, but this house called 'Blackberry Farm' is in the Tennessee hills.

The huge stone flagstones in the entry floor are appropriately rustic.

Really like the blue and green combo in living room, that complements that mellow wood so well.

I like their decision to paint the ceiling of the kitchen white.

The bed looks cozy tucked in a gable.

Some of the natural wood walls in the house have been painted, like in this bedroom below.

The sunroom is so cozy, and doubles as a casual dining spot.

The exterior and interior are beautiful. Of course, I'd have to tweak some of the furnishings though. I'd probably spend the majority of my time on that front porch or the screened in balcony above it.

There is something special about this house. Although it is far from my personal style, I love it anyway. It has a peaceful, cozy feel to it.

Seems very serene and tranquil.

I would have gone with some lighter colors to give it some life and vibrancy but this would be a nice, quiet place for a vacation.

Very warm inviting lovely home especially for a getaway! I love all the wood and the bedroom is so appealing. I have mentioned before my best girlfriend lived in a log cabin which was beautiful. The walls were pecky cypress. The interior of this home reminds me of that look

DH and I have stayed at Blackberry Farm in Tennessee twice; this must be a different place since we had private rooms and wonderful gourmet dining from their own gardens. Wonderful. It is a very private place and you can't even go see it if you don't have reservations, which are hard to come by.new were given a stay there as a gift, and loved it so much we booked a future stay there before we left.

Lucky you, @Trailrun23 ! After posting, I stumbled upon something that made me think that Blackberry Farm may be a compendium of some private homes like this, and a beautiful inn, a barn and other things, restaurants, etc. Don't quite understand the full scope of it.

How fantastic you got to stay there-- the grounds and vistas of hills, water and forest look magnificent...
