Wow, I was shocked at how much it picked up with one use.</P> <P>The room was vacuumed 2 days ago with the Oreck. I do have cats. I have to say I was IMPRESSED with how much dirt/hair/stuff was visible in the canister. </P> <P>My conclusion is that this is way more effective than the Oreck. I doubt that much debris was accumulated in a couple days. </P> <P>The ball design helps it move around so easily too. I wasn't even thinking about it or looking for it - it just struck me.</P> <P>I have purchased both the Oreck and Dyson from QVC. I have no agenda other than my personal experience.
