    <description>&lt;P&gt;I bought the BL Santa Glitter Water Globe back in Christmas in July and just got it out a week ago to use.  It takes three AAA batteries.  I put it on the timer mode and the batteries wore out after one week.  Is that typical for something that uses AAA batteries? &lt;/P&gt;</description>
