Nellies Laundry Powder

Does anyone know if Nellie's has had a TS on HSN in a while?

I haven't watched lately and noted there are very few Nellie's products in stock...but lots of Beekmans.

Perhaps they have moved on and been replaced.

Usually they do this time of year---I have used Nellies for at least the last 5 years. Love the stuff--lot's of wanna bees out there but Nellies is the best!! I order from AMZ now.

I think they are only doing a TS once a year. Costco online was carrying it at one time. I will say the Beekman laundry soap works about the same. I'm not a Beekman fan and I found out the laundry soap is available under the name of Brooke & Nora. The liquid version is the same on their website as it is on HSN. More options of scents or unscented. Good luck

Just checked at Costco. Not only do they have the laundry soap (800 loads), but they have the large size oxygen brightener. Love that stuff. They also have some other Nellies products. Their floor cleaner is the best I've ever used.

I hope Hsn doesn't cancel my Auto-Ship. I get the 500-Load bucket for $50.

I just checked my A-S status and it appears that I cannot change the frequency of deliveries...uh-oh. They might be cancelling orders.

It gets my clothes clean and that 500-Load bucket lasts me over 2 years.

Same here. I have the 600 load for $59.00. I just checked mine I can still change the frequency.

My daughter asked for a subscription and I was going to start one this year for her when they have the TSV. Fingers crossed.

I just checked the August schedule, and no Nellie’s. That is when they usually offer it.

Earlier today, they had lots of Beekman's cleaning items on clearance.

I was doing laundry and my Nellie's bucket is low, so I thought I would buy some or see if there was an upcoming TS.

Of course, I can buy it elsewhere, but will wait a bit longer.

My clothing and laundry in general is never heavily soiled. I wash sheets and other items frequently, so I'm not starting with really dirty items.

I can always switch to something else, but I've found Nellies to be just fine and convenient in those giant tubs.

It just seemed odd they didn't have anything in stock.

Thought it was interesting. HSN has 4 Nellie's items for sale. None are laundry powder. Two items are for dogs and one of those items is on clearance.

@Sooner When you use Nellies it only takes 1 TBL for a large load, clothes get really clean and fresh smelling even though it has no scent. Much less fading on dark colors. It's good for the environment and it's very economical to use.

I have been using Nellies for years and that is the only one I would use (I still have two large buckets from the TSV from a while ago), however, I wanted to try Beekman's sweet grass scent. While it is a little costly I have to say my laundry came out so soft and smelling so clean and fresh - I love it. I am now cancelling my AD on Nellies (since I have way more than enough to last for a few years) and ordered the Beekman in Lavender and Fresh Linen.

I've decided to go back to using the Method brand for a while. It's is liquid and readily available at Target.

And, I currently have 3 large jugs in my pantry since my husband uses it or his work clothing.

It's just an easier option at the moment, and my clothing does not require any heavy duty cleaning.

I've been on Auto-Ship for the 500-load bucket forever. One bucket lasts me for over 2 years. But today I canceled my long-standing Auto-Ship b/c my next shipment is back-ordered until November!!. Forget that. I need it sooner than that so I went and looked around and found a great deal on a 800-load bucket for about the same old price. Woo-whoo!

BTW, Hsn has added many new Nellie's products. From the looks of it they're not going away.

I found this online:

Nellie's Laundry Soda is safe for HE and standard washing machines. If you have an HE washing machine, we recommend adding the Laundry Soda directly in the drum with your clothes. The newer machines and HE machines do not have enough water pressure to fully clean out the dispensers of Nellie's Laundry Soda.

Do most of you add the Nellie's to the drum instead of the dispenser? If so, is it before you add the clothes or on top of them?

It is hard to believe so little of it gets clothing clean.

I have a top load machine and I always add Nellie's powder into the tub as it starts to fill w/o clothes in it. The powder dissolves almost instantly so then I start putting my clothes in shortly thereafter. Never had the powder clump or not dissolve. It goes into solution quickly, rinses out easily and thoroughly.
