Interesting house but it looks like it would be pretty dark inside. ETA We have relatives in Raleigh. Beautiful country and wonderful, hospitable people.

That's a really cool Air BnB. My only complaint is that I felt there were far too many different textures in each of the rooms. I love texture in design but it was a little overdone for me. The bedroom was my favorite part. The round doorway leading into it from the main part of the house and then the round door that you can open up and view the mountains while laying in bed.

I guess I'm just not much into whimsy. These sorts of structures generally have little appeal for me. Were I traveling, I'd prefer something less thematic.

@ECBG This house was an interesting post. Always nice to see something different. Not sure I could deal with all hobbit. Ben and Erin Napier did a remodel job on a home where the woman liked Hobbit touches. It had a bit of color and I did like it.
