@Desertdi We have many restaurants on the river here and don't have problems with them.

@Desertdi Yes, I'm familiar with them and their poop. I grew up on a bay in NJ and had not aggressiveness but the poop. It's different where we are now.

It looks very nice, but I'm just not a fan of dining that close to water. I've done it a few times, and I didn't care for the smell of the water, the insects, and the sea birds. I'd rather eat inside with a view of the water outside.

While it looks very pretty, and the view lovely, I prefer indoor eating without the sun shining down on me. Maybe under a umbrella providing shade would work.

It looks nice. Reminds me of Lee's Landing Dock Bar in Port Deposit, MD. It's on the Susquehanna River close to where it meets the Chesapeake. I haven't been there in a few years but what a way to spend a lazy afternoon - on their deck with a beer or glass of wine, watching boats drift by on the river.

It looks pretty, but I don't know about all the bugs and gulls. I think I would prefer inside with open windows and screens and look at the water and boats.

I'm loving it....the sun, sea, and scents of fresh water. But I'd be just as happy inside with a window view.

It doesn't look like there is any dock for chairs on the far side of the table. There are plates set but looks like you would be standing in the water to eat.

We have a seasonal dockside dining place that just reopened. Only open for 3 months in the Summer. It is FANTASTIC! It was just packed with people the other day. It was a beautiful day, we sat on a dock with the boats parking next to us. Wonderful food and just a great atmosphere.

I've eaten picnics on the beach and at restaurants that are open and have an ocean view many times. I love everything about the beach including the birds and seagulls so it wouldn't/doesn't bother me. The only issue would be the wind but I'd still put up with a "little" breeze.

Absolutely love this breezy set-up. The table setting is cheerily nautical, and how romantic would those lanterns be, lit at twilight and on into the night!

I'd be thrilled awaiting my trout meuniere at that table! The speeding motorboat in the background is the atmospheric coup de grace....

It looks very Cape Cod or Maine like, and is a very cute "themed" setting, but I'd prefer it under cover and definitely away from the dock!! I've eaten this close to the water, and got bit up a storm by mosquitoes! Not fun!
