That's a lot of dishes, though a pretty combination withe the painted dresser and adjoining dining room.

I have just a few pieces of that type of dishware, not many, but mostly teacups, saucers , cream/sugar--love them and geez---I LOVE that color pink----and I am not a pink girl but something about it--- Love it at the back of the shelves!!!

Have not seen toast racks in a long time. Remember in college going to England and being all puzzled at breakfast.

I am not a Pink person so it's not for me.

Plus there is way too much of everything piled up which takes away from the beauty of the pieces IMO.

I love the dishes, the colors etc. but it's a mess! I could take the conglomeration of all of the different sizes and shapes, but with just a little bit of organization it would look much much better.

It reminds me of my China cabinet that I store the mismatches, but it also has a door that closes it off.

The dining room is stunning. My mother loved antiques and collected china. She had her treasures in a Breakfront and a few items displayed on side tables. Now I have the breakfront and continue keeping the china in it. While I love this display shown in the picture, I feel the china should be spaced so you could see the beauty of all pieces. I love the cups on the hooks but the rest is too crowded.

Or, as a friend of mine who has open shelving does, rinse the items off before use and then wash them before being put back.

Visually VERY appealing to me, but I wouldn't want to dust it for sure and I personally have my tea cups behind glass or a closed cupboard! I know it's in a home, but wouldn't you love to see this in a tea shop or coffee/tea/bakery where you could just stare at it? I would!
