Remember Beautiful White Carved Angels?

Years ago, there was a bearded man that did beautiful glass angels.

One piece he made was a large angel with a big white globe sitting on a small jewelry box.

Does anyone remember this item please?

The only carved glass angels I remember were made by Lee Sands. Those angels were made of opalite glass.

I had bought a beautiful 3D carved angel on a platform which was a small jewelry box. She was perfectly life like, like Lladro figures are.

I remember he also had an angel sitting in a world globe. His work was amazing.

He looked rather like a lumberjack in his flannel shirts.

I had bought the item for my sister and lost her several years ago to cancer.

I remember Lee Sands well. Lee was a much smaller man. The artist I am referring to was "burly", seems like he had a beard, and rather looked like a "santa" or lumber jack. I was amazed he could do such delicate work.

The angel on the world globe was 7-9 inches tall, and the pieces were quite beautiful.

I have many of his ornaments and met him at his museum in Ohio. Really neat place.

I recall years ago, there was a guy on QVC who did white carved angels, I think his name was Steven Lavaggi?
