So cute, it's on Airbnb. What a location too, best in the Spring and Summer. Don't know what the bathroom situation is, it isn't mentioned in the article.

Inside the windmill's octagonal space, the slightly slanted walls and the exposed beams add to its architectural interest. This one-of-a-kind place has so much character and a fairytale-like feel, that guests can't help but fall in love with it.

Downstairs, you'll find a great room with a living room and dining room, as well as a bedroom, bathroom, and the well-appointed kitchen with a gas stove and retro-style refrigerator.

With two bedrooms, this quaint cottage can accommodate up to four guests. The first floor bedroom offers a comfortable queen-sized bed along with built-in shelves and a closet.

In the upstairs loft bedroom, you'll find a full-sized bed and a desk by the window with views of both the yard and nearby Mill Pond.

One of the most extraordinary features in the loft is found when you look up at the ceiling and see the windmill's gearshaft which turns its sails. Although it will be locked during your stay, you can still marvel at its engineering as you lay in bed.

While The Windmill Cottage is nothing short of spectacular, so is the surrounding areas that you can walk to. Conveniently located walking distance from town, the beach, and a private boat launch at Mill Pond, you may never want to leave!

What a charming lovely warm inviting home! I love everything about it especially the location as I am a fan of New England. For me this would be ideal to spend time at and enjoy the surrounding beauty. Cape Cod has always been one of my favorite spots to spend vacations. This Windmill Cottage is for me!

I found a picture of the only bathroom in the Airbnb listing.

It's booked for the entire month of October. An early three days in Nov was $284 a night. I can only imagine the Summer rates.

I would love to stay there, perfect size for solo travelers. It's a short walk to the town center and the beach.

Cozy but I need more than a valance on the window. I could not sleep with the window not being covered. Too many wierdos in this world. Like I said earlier, it is cozy looking. Decor is subdued but nice.

For those who may not know, Chatham is one of the most charming- and most expensive - places on the Cape. They have a long Main Street with restaurants and shops. One of my favorite shops is on this street, and I couldn’t resist giving them more of my business this summer.

Cute idea, but a little claustrophobic... I'm going to pass... Also, while nice and neat the decor is sort of meh... I do like the kitchen, though...

Living in RI I get out to the Cape every summer, sometimes even in winter. It is truly lovely in the winter months but very quiet and allot of places close for the season. I've spent a lot of time in Chatham and have never seen this little gem. I'll have to take a drive and check it out. Thanks for posting.

I think it is really cute. I could stay there for a night or two. Don't care for the only one bathroom if traveling with others. I need my privacy. I also would need window coverings.

I wonder if there might be a shade to pull down under the valance. I would certainly want that!
