Fall at the Lake House...

This is another 'rustic' design scheme. I very much like aspects of it and don't care for others. Overall, I'd certainly take this house but I'd not necessarily have gone in the directions chosen...

I like the kitchen and the room with the alcohol bottles. The bedroom OMG with the drapes and the other rooms are not my taste. The house itself is beautiful.

I think it is beautiful and I love most of it, of course there are some things I would change, but I love those open shelves in the Butler Pantry, as well as the bathroom with the matching vanities.....I also realy like the screened in porch. I guess I would make it brighter and lighter in the inside, some parts are a little too rustic for me, but it is a gorgeous home!!

I love the inside as much as the outside.

I would just take down the drapes in the bedroom and sitting room and remove that curtain under the sink in the kitchen. It could be replaced with cabinet doors.

I would also remove the table covering in the entry.

I agree @stevieb It is beautiful, but not my taste. If I was vacationing at the lake it would be perfect. If I owned it I would do things different.

Beautiful home but I find the decor very bland. Everything blends with everything a little too well so it's all the same value.

I wonder who rakes up all the leaves IN THE HOUSE?

Lovely home with upscale rustic appeal. I'd probably hang out in the outdoor living room a lot. It looks country cozy. I also like the bar, but it's a little small to be as dark as it is, even for me and I'm all about dark wood interiors.

This is a beautiful "special" house with many design elements.

The bedroom is somewhat underwhelming to me. I would use something like this from Grandin Road. This bed is handmade.

That welcoming entry way! And how fabulous to curl up on that couch in the living room in front of the fire.

As mentioned before, I do like the exterior of this lake house. The interior is nice but sooooooo not my style. A nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

@stevieb I love the outside of the home a lot. The inside misses the mark for me. A wee bit too rustic and blah. I would change many things if the home were mine. Hey, a girl can dream. lol

I don't know why they didn't add a small sink to the bar area? You could always use a sink.

The outdoor living room is great. That would be my hangout spot for sure. Just wonder how you close it for winter and snow. I don't see any retractable doors or wall.

I like it but not the entry. I would find something else for that area. I would also get rid of the curtain around the bed. Dust collector that I don't want to sleep next to.

That's a beautiful home, but the homeowner seems afraid to use color.
