All that black is depressing and gives me the creeps. Please, not in a kitchen which should be a happy, gathering place.

I do not like the black cabinets, or other black pieces at all and would change that first. Also I would prefer just a nice dining table with chairs instead of the middle piece which is too much. With changes, for me, it would all be more appealing.

@jubilant I generally do not care for black furnishings but the white walls with that high shine from the floors work to my liking! I could see myself being happy in this environment easily.

I've loved Victorian, in my day, (though lately I like a simpler farmhouse, cottage look, not as foofy as Victorian), and this doesn't look Victorian to me, at all.

And...I'm with @Kachina624 No black in the kitchen for me either...I love Ivories, whites, some sunny soft buttery yellows in a kitchen. Happy, airy, sunlit. That's my vibe. 🌞

Maybe I'm missing something but don't see the Victorian? I see a bunch of mish-mash that doesn't go together?! The Modern black cabinets don't match the everybody has them Trendy subway tiles which don't match the Traditional Modern marble counter-tops. The Pantry door is Farmhouse along with the obligatory Rooster. The banquet seating (is this Victorian?) COMPLETELY doesn't match the table which might be Modern or Traditional and the Traditional Chairs match in color to the cabinets but not the round table which should be square in my mind. It's like someone took pieces of what they liked & threw it all together! If a designer "designed" this, they should be fired!

I don't like the set up of this kitchen, but I do love black cabinets. They really look good against the wood floor. The contrast is perfect.

I don't care for it, but would like to see the whole kitchen. Where is the sink? No black cabinets or stainless steel for me. Don't care for the banquette. They are very uncomfortable with the straight backs. The whole seating area doesn't seem to belong. Table is too bulky. Pantry door and motif don't seem to belong.

Wow, I guess I tore that apart.........sorry!!

So first, not Victorian. Other than the tiresome, overdone, white subway tile backsplash and the banquette, which is not a feature I often care for anyway, I like most all of the elements in this kitchen, I'm just not sure I like the way they're combined. I like the black cabinets and chairs but the contrast with all that stark white is too glaring. The counters and floors are quite pretty.

I do not see victorian style here, I see contemporary mixed with traditional and do not like the black against white...I don't recall seeing much black in victorian style, design or furnishings. Since limited area is shown for this kitchen, do not like what is featured!

Love love love the black cabinetry. I'd use something with more pizzazz for the backsplash and tile over the stove. The pantry door is more suited for a modern farmhouse kitchen so I'd change that out too. Did I mention I LOVE the black cabinets? LOL!

I don't care for banquettes, so that feature is a no. I would prefer to see the subway tiles grouted in a white shade. Other than that I like the kitchen (which really doesn't look Victorian to me.)
