LVP is luxury vinyl planks.. It is not hardwood flooring.

It is best not to use any soap as it will be difficult to do so without leaving a residue which will attract dirt.

Dirt will scratch and discolor the floor. Mop with clean water only.

You should receive a booklet explaining how to care for this type of floor.

We just put in that flooring in June of 2020.

We went out and bought a Swiffer. My husband uses a dry cloth and then goes over it with their wet cloths.

The gentleman who was the installer andthe gentleman who was the rep for the flooring company both told us this was the way to clean the LVP that was installed in our home.

We’ve had Coretec luxury vinyl plank flooring in our kitchen that looks like hardwood for a couple years. I just use a spray bottlle of water and a microfiber head mop to clean it. I really like my flooring but it can mar or dent so I have several extra pieces stored away just in case a plank gets damaged.

I pulled up my carpet and found gorgeous hardwood floors. I scrubbed with Dawn dishsoap in water to get the yuck off and then used a wood floor cleaner. Since then, I have used Swiffer Wet.

Hello...we went with commercial grade LVP as recommended by our floor guy. This house gets more traffic than a walmart, so made sense to us. It's reinforced with slate and is pretty thick. It's a beautiful floor and we clean it with a swiffer or a microfiber mop and a spray bottle of vinegar/water mix. I just love it.

And had just a shower curtain, no doors. LVP is waterproof. Never had any leaking issues with the toilet or sink either, in the 35 years I lived in that house ---I would use this in a whole house if I was going to own one again. Also no little kids in the house anymore--less splashing!!
