Seriously ugly furniture. I have always had white/beige sofas but this does nothing for me style wise.

Elegant and serene. Love that gilt mirror! Fabulous way to bounce the light from the windows all around, too.

Even enlarging the picture it's hard to see much detail here but there appear to be some pretty elements. I find it, overall, to be a reasonably appealing room, but yes, too much white for me and I happen to like white. Agree with @Bhvbum, a colorful rug might make a big difference...

I love this room. I have always owned a white or cream sofa because it lightens up the room. This room is neutral, refined, and welcoming.

@deedledeedeedle Until this past year I always said I would never have a light sofa. My room definitely needed to "lighten up"so I broke down and bought a cream colored sofa. What a difference it has made! My chairs aren't cream but I have been amazed how much lighter my room looks with just that one piece of furniture. Now, should we have to move for any reason, that couch will fit in anywhere. This room gave me a warm feeling. My first thought was coffee with cream. I almost titled it that! LOL! I'm glad you liked it, too.

I mostly like this room, but I think it needs a brighter Oriental area rug and a bit more color It looks like a formal room, especially on the left side with those straight-back chairs and the mirror. I know that appeals to some...it's just a little too "stiff" for me.

Very pretty, sometimes less is better (as in this photo.)

I'd just get rid of the chandeliers. And, knowing my fav color is in the blues, I'd probably find a way to add some pops of blue/cream .. perhaps an area rug.

Forgot to mention, I'd lose the grey ottoman. Don't like it at all. It would look better if it was tonal with the rest of the room or gone altogether.

I think creamy walls are dreamy and our last house, we have it throughout except bathrooms and 3 of the bedrooms. There's not a color I would want to replace it.

I don't like how they placed the artwork on the fireplace wall. The gray ottoman looks out of place. This room is just okay for me.
