Anybody Still Have Snowman Out?

DH tried to bring my porch snowman inside today, saying, "It's March." It's still cold here, although the snow MIGHT be gone finally. My home is still decorated for winter inside too. I was planning to gradually switch to Easter and Spring later this week. Is anyone else still enjoying winter decorations?

I put away my snowmen decorations last weekend. I skipped valentine's day. I decorated for St Patricks day.

We only have snow in shady areas and where snow was piled up from shoveling/snow blowing.

We bought crabgrass prevent today. Home Depot lady said put step 1 down now while cold, so it works to stop crabgrass.

Bunnies/Easter will go up soon after St Patrick's day.

Snowmen decorations are still out in my house. There’s snow outside and it’s cold. Next week is supposed to be much warmer. Maybe I’ll get rid of the snowmen then.

I just put out my Easter decorations inside but left a couple of snowmen decorations outside. It is still cold but I will be taking them in very soon. Being more of a fall/winter person, I don't have as much enthusiasm decorating now as I do when Fall arrives. However, the house looks nice and spring is in the air!

Yes! I still have my favorite little snowman that sits in the kitchen window since that overlooks the back yard and the snow. But I was just thinking today, it's time for him to go away for the year! And bring on spring!!

I put my Snowmen away Friday and Spring & Easter out yesterday. Too much snow this year and needed some Spring now. ☘🐰🐇

I'm laughing! hahahahahaha that big picture page popped up then went bloop! away and then the sign in thing was there.

Okay, enough of that.

Our snow all melted. There's only around 2% left. We were buried though ALL month since the big one. There were storms every other week after the big one. I'm enjoying the nice sunny clear cold. I'm not a hot weather person. Can't wait until next fall.

@beach-mom , one of my neighbours still has all her Christmas lights and decorations up and lights them up daily. Whatever makes you happy, especially in this year of isolation. I look at them and smile and then think 'Glad it's not me, don't have to take them down". S

We still have piles and piles and piles of snow.

DH can't GET to some of our decorations, and they're solars so they're out there blinking and winking every night.

Can't wait to get everything down and put up the flowers and bu nines and pastel ribbons.

I have 2 neighbors who still turn on their Christmas lights every night.

It's going to be in the 50s here all week and I'm thrilled. I was so tired of snow - we received more than twice our usual amount this winter.

No...I took all holiday decor down two weeks ago and put out a few spring items. We have had so much snow and cold I needed the house to look lighter. Finally snow is gone and the temps are rising, a welcome sign of spring!!

Visited friends in a gated resort community (before the pandemic ). As they drove us around for a tour, I commented on a Christmasy-type snowman alongside a driveway entrance.

Since it was the middle of summer, I asked if they were just super early decorating for next holiday. Nope, they leave it there year round....I guess the HOA thinks it's alright. Just says " stupid "...along with other stuff there that detracts and looks like clutter.

I put them all away this past week. I usually do it while cleaning the house so everything is nice and tidy. I switched over to my spring decorations , including my outside wreath.

I don't decorate for each holiday of the year, kudos to all that do, but I am just lazy about it. I am more of a seasonal decor person.

OK Beach Mom - when I first read the question, I thought you were talking about Snowmen made of real snow. And you were wondering if they had melted.

With so much snow this year, I have never seen so many "real snowmen" in the neighborhood. It was fun to see how creative people were. They even had snowmen waving to other "snowmen". There were that many "snowmen" up and down the street.

Took your comment to realize I was once again not on the same wave length.

Not sure where you live but here in my part of Alaska it is 2 degrees and snow almost to the bottom of my window. We have real snowmen in yard.

I don't have snowmen, but I do have a winter David Winter house with snow. It needs to rest this week!

I'll add that I'm tired of wearing boots as well!
