Luminara Lace Candles

I've been looking at H226418 Luminara Lace Candles for a while. I was considering getting the 5" ivory and putting it in a glass hurricane.

I just watched the presentation again, and the Vendor said that this is the kind of candle that you don't want to put in a vessel. She said it should stand alone or in a tray.

Would any of you put it in a hurricane?

I would. A hurricane would not hide the fine detail of the lace.

Putting it into a caged lantern or some other vessel that hid the lace would hide the detail. Why bother buying a decorative candle, then hiding it?

Thank you @Carmie . That's what I was thinking, too, that a hurricane wouldn't hide the detail. This is the one that I have. I have the medium (without the sand). It's about 12" tall.

@NickNack I am putting three ivory in clear hurricanes, very pretty. If the glass weren't clear, the pattern would be hidden. Also, they would look pretty in lanterns that are not covered in design, just clear glass.

@NickNack I see no reason why you couldn't put these in a hurricane. Being clear glass, it certainly isn't going to hide the pattern of the candle. I think it would look lovely and "finished".

@NickNack I am getting two of those hurricanes you posted from PB in medium. I will use them on my hall table.

Right now I am using two hurricanes that I bought to use outside on my patio table. They are green and have a kinda beachy vibe. The clear ones will be so much better for that hall spot and then I can finally take the green ones outside this spring as I originally intended.
