I like it. I have a similar style in my home. In fact, my kitchen table looks almost exactly like the one in the picture except the wood is darker.

Those lights look like they belong in an operating room. The sleek look of the room is appealing to me.

I think it looks nice but not very comfortable.

It would make a very nice office kitchen/dining room.

"Modern Farmhouse" style, at least the more commercial sort which featured signs, pictures of agricultural animals, etc., has been losing ground now for some time.

So for people who like a seemingly 'farmhouse', slightly "stripped down" feeling, eclectic but still with some traditional elements, there have been evolving looks that mix in more industrial with rustic aspects and deeper, more unexpected colors. This is a good example, while still incorporating a traditional rug, shutters, modified Windsor chairs, etc.

Its ok, I do not like the table legs. IMO I dont see anything rustic about it.

I like it but the chairs do look uncomfortable..I would replace them.

I like different styles mixed in a home. Of course I like them to compliment one another but I think it creates interest. Not everything goes with everything.

I would definitely replace the chairs to more comfortable ones, and change up the accessories a bit, but otherwise really like the space, and love the paint color! So bold and pretty.

I like the rug and shutters, but I would put shutters on the small window, too. That's about all. Not a fan of comtemporary.

At first glance - seems okay.

But - as I look at details - not so okay. There are number of issues I have with that room.

Area rug under the table would be an issue moving chairs when sitting down and getting up from the table. Sliding chairs would snag the rug.

The chairs facing the window is another issue. The reflection on the table shows that there is glare coming in the window. Problem for those sitting facing the windows.

And - those chairs don't look very comfortable.

I actually like it. In fact, I think the rug is almost exactly like one of my own. But, I'd have to have chairs that were more comfortable.

The wall is probably black because of the table and chairs. It may possibly be inky blue/black. The color was probably pulled from the dark in the rug.
